Located south Aberdeen along 387th Avenue (County Road 10), this bridge is the southern crossing of Foot Creek in Aberdeen.
Built in 1915, likely to replace an older trestle, this bridge consists of a single through girder span, set onto concrete substructures. Several other bridges along this route were known to have been built in 1915 as well.
Because of the massive snow drifts from a recent blizzard, the author was not able to get closer to this bridge and check for any unusual details. The span does appear to be a standard design, with no distinguishing features.
Across the road is the former Chicago & North Western bridge, which has been abandoned for many years.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition, with some spalling and cracking of the substructures noted.
The author has ranked the bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
